About Mariane
Two decades on the world stage
Mariane Mariano is one of the most decorated combat athletes to grace the KMA mats. A member of the Philippine Air Force military athletes program, she has represented the country internationally for over 20 years across five combat sports.
She began in Wushu-Sanda, rising to the world's elite — a World Games silver medalist, multiple-time SEA Games medalist, and a competitor at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She later dominated in SAMBO, medaling at the SEA Games, the Asian SAMBO Championship, and the Asia & Oceania SAMBO Championship.
Today she remains an active competitor in Jiu-Jitsu (DUO) — a SEA Games and SEA Regional medalist — and in mixed martial arts, having fought in ONE Championship and BRAVE Fighting Championship. She is a national champion in DUO classic and assists as a head coach in training.
At KMA, Mariane brings this rare breadth of striking, throwing, and grappling experience to the mats — mentoring students with the discipline of a career military athlete and the technique of a world-class competitor.
